Yoga meets Medicine

The success of The Yoga Solution is further substantiated by the support of highly influential medical institutions in the East and West. The philosophies of Dr. Vinod, Director of India's Health Institute, have influenced Marti profoundly. In recognition of his brilliance she continues to send her students to Dr. Vinod whenever he is in the States.

In California, she works closely with Stanford, California's Sports Orthopedic And Rehabilitation clinic (S.O.A.R.). The S.O.A.R. physicians consult with Marti on rehab patients and frequently prescribe private classes with her as a part of their treatment. The relationships with these institutions work well because Marti is aware that her expertise is in yoga and understands that other specifically clinical problems need to be handled by other professionals.
